I belong to the Suncoast Samplar Guild which is based in the Tampa Bay area. The members come from all walks of life but we all share a love of needlework and samplers.
We are a small group and are very laid-back and friendly. We have business meetings each quarter and a monthly stitch-in at Silk Roads Needlearts, a local needlework shop. The group has graciously volunteered to be the "guinea pigs" for all my teaching pieces.
The Suncoast Samplar Guild has two retreats each year at Chinsegut Hill which is located a few miles north of Brooksville, FL. The picture below are of our group during our first visit to Chinsegut, which has become our "second home."
